Livia Daniel is an artist, educator, and researcher specializing in the analysis of technological behavior, feminism, and visual thinking strategies that define contemporary culture. Living between Europe and the United States, Daniel completed her doctorate with a Fulbright scholarship at New York University's Tandon School of Engineering, where she was recently an artist in residency. Her work explores truth not as fixed knowledge but as a fluid, contemporary concept — investigating the action and effect of revelation and how bodies survive and adapt to perpetual change from a feminist perspective. Working through a hybrid format that brings together experience, theory, and practice, she seeks to bring art closer to people. She recently presented her solo exhibition 393 W Broadway after a period of residencies between Germany and Spain. Her upcoming projects include a solo exhibition at Galería Marc Bibiloni and the group show El Instante es Semilla Viva, opening this autumn at Centro Centro.
